Guide To Making Inbound Connect Bookings

If you need to make a booking to pick up or drop off freight at a participating Inbound Connect logistics facility, please follow the instructions below.

WHO SHOULD REGISTER FOR AN INBOUND CONNECT ACCOUNT?

You should register for a free Inbound Connect account if you expect to make more than 5 bookings in any 12 month period.  Having an account simplifies the management of your bookings, enabling you to easily make updates, cancellations, and track your booking history.

WHO SHOULD MAKE A ONE-OFF BOOKING?

One of bookings are designed for irregular users of Inbound Connect.

You should make a one-off booking if you are not expecting to pick up or drop off freight at a participating Inbound Connect logistics facility more than 5 times in any 12 month period. 

HOW TO MAKE AN BOOKING

  1. Go to https://inboundconnect.com and click on either ‘Login’ (registered user) or ‘One-Off Booking’ (one-off user) button at the top of the page.
  2. To accept the Website Terms of Use, simply click on the blue button labelled ‘I agree to all terms’. This prompt will appear each time the terms change (for registered users) or every time for a one-off booking.

    If you are performing one-off booking Inbound Connect will automatically detect your location and show you facilities based on your location. If the system incorrectly detects the country you’re operating in, you can easily change it by selecting the correct country from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen.

  3. Click on the blue ‘Create Booking’ button at the top of the screen if you have logged in with an account (one-off bookings will be taken directly to the create booking screen)
  4. Type the name of the facility you wish to drop off to, or pick up from.
  5.  

  6. Use the dropdown box to choose the service your vehicle requires
  7. Choose a date and a time that you expect your vehicle to arrive at the facility
  8. Click the red ‘Assign Timeslot’ button to reserve your timeslot, you may be required to enter an additional quantity of a specific set of items (pallets or cubic meters etc) before you can click the assign timeslot.
  9. Enter the mandatory fields required
  10. Enter any optional fields if you wish to do so
  11. Upload all required documents (any documents the driver would previously have brought to the facility in paper form needs to be uploaded.  Eg: delivery orders for FAK import pickup, interim receipts for FAK export dropoff, or delivery orders for breakbulk services – call Inbound Support on 1300 803 873 if not sure
  12. If you are a one-off booking you will be required to enter your name or company name and email address
  13. Press the green Save button
  14. If payments is required for this booking (it will be for one-off bookings), you will be prompted for your payment details to confirm the booking
 

HOW TO EDIT A BOOKING

  • If you have an Inbound Connect account you will be able to see all of your bookings from the Bookings -> My Bookings menu option. Select any of your existing bookings, right click on them and select Edit Booking from the menu.
  • For a one-off booking, you will receive an email once you successfully save your booking.  On that email is a green ‘Edit’ button.  If you wish to edit any part of your one-off booking, simply hit that button, make the changes you need to make and press the ‘Edit’ button  at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Please note there are restrictions and cut-off times that may impact your ability to edit a booking. These are set by each facility and can be different for each service offered.

HOW TO CANCEL A BOOKING

  • If you have an Inbound Connect account you will be able to see all of your bookings from the Bookings -> My Bookings menu option. Select any of your existing bookings, right click on them and select Cancel Booking from the menu.
  • If you need to cancel your one-off booking, please contact Inbound Support below.

Please note that a cancellation fee may apply in some circumstances.
