Inbound has been fantastic for our business. Previously, we had trucks arriving at random and this would often cause queuing and additional cost and frustration to our clients. Inbound has enabled us to advertise the capacity that we have so that carriers know when they can be serviced most efficiently. More importantly, we can plan our labour and equipment needs to service the demand which helps us manage our costs. Our staff love the system and it was very easy to implement too.

We’d highly recommend Inbound to any logistics facility that needs to manage arriving trucks.
At Tasman, we are always looking for ways to improve the service we can offer our clients, reduce our costs and improve efficiency. We use the latest technology solutions in our business to help us achieve this. With large numbers of trucks arriving at our bonded warehouse without notice, and too much reliance on manual paperwork and processes, we realised that we needed to find a way to handle arriving trucks differently.

Inbound has allowed us to drastically improve the service we can provide, be more proactive in our planning and better manage our costs. It has also meant the elimination of paperwork, which we regard as important in a COVID-safe environment. Inbound has been a great solution for us.
The Inbound system that has been implemented at Tasman Logistics & Airwave Australia has proven very effective. Allocated time slots helps our Freight Controller to manage the fleet, knowing the drivers will be in and out within 30 mins. It has removed all waiting time and additional loading time, much to our client's satisfaction.

As an Adhoc Transport business, the biggest advantage is that it has given us the flexibility to be more nimble. We are better positioned to plan delivery times, which supports us to provide the level of service our clients expect.
Trojan deals with a wide variety of freight at our depot, and Inbound gives us the ability to manage arriving trucks much more efficiently than we could in the past.

For example, we often deal with personal effects where the person picking up is not used to how a freight depot operates. Inbound gives the ‘one-off’ user (or their freight forwarding agent) the ability to send and receive all the information and documents they need prior to sending a vehicle to our depot.

This makes a huge difference to the way that the vehicle is serviced on arrival, and therefore to our overall traffic flow and efficiency. Inbound also ensures we have transparency on truck volumes per hour and this allows us to put more resources on truck loading when required.
